THE JUNKYARD

THE JUNKYARD The Junkyard is a territory, surrounded by a high metal fence, that borders with the Big City, and with other instances, though thorough exploration is impossible, so those territories remain unknown. People from the Big City gather lots of precious materials from the yard, but the gathering is not easy. The Junkyard is constantly surveilled by an enormous pack of dogs, whose actual alpha is a wolfish female called Tundra. That's what they call her in the City by the way, 'cause the Junkyard dogs don't speak and don't use names. The Junkyard dogs live as feral animals, though there are historical evidences they can shift into bipedal, hand equipped and talking shapes. The only shape that is allowed inside the junkyard is the feral one, and the only animals allowed to enter are dogs. Everyone else is killed and eaten. Dogs of the Big City have the task to gather materials from there, they must enter in small groups, in feral form, and take what they can wit...

THE FOREST

THE FOREST Every single instance has at least a way to the Forest, an infinite wild territory. The deeper someone walks inside it, the feeblest their conscience become.   The immediate outskirts are inhabited by people wanting to live a feral life called, obviously, Ferals. In the Forest, hunting (only with physical weapons) is allowed. Walking deep into the Forest causes a spirit to lose their sentience, identity and memory. Getting lost in the Forest may mean that spirit won't reincarnate, and will be lost into oblivion (though it's not always the case) About the Forest: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/33593048/ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/41623961/ An index of Liminal Cities

ARCADIA

ARCADIA   Arcadia is a city inhabited by lots of different sentient species of animals. All of them are chordates, and have a similar level of intelligence. HISTORY? Arcadia seems to have had an history of great scientific development in its past, as some fine technologies are well developed, though not accessible from most part of the population beside a few richer people.  That history has been almost completely forgotten. Arcadian are for the most part almost totally illiterates, except for a few words, mostly designing utilities, signs and the like. The use of written words is scarce and news are passed around orally.  No humans or memory of humans is available, but some hints in domestic species slang (being called "a pet", being kept at a leash as an humiliation etc ) seems to be evident of them having been subdued by species with superior power in the past - though not necessarily by humans. CULTURE? They have no TV or any kind of video, as most part of spec...
